Parnasse stops Hooker in the first round as Charriere loses on the Paris prelims
Salahdine Parnasse beat Dan Hooker by first-round TKO in the UFC Paris main event, while Morgan Charriere dropped a decision on the preliminary card.
The UFC returned to the Accor Arena on Saturday, 5 September 2026, and the headline act was over before the first round was. Salahdine Parnasse stopped Dan Hooker and closed the show early in front of a Paris crowd that barely had time to settle.
One correction for anyone who followed the build-up second-hand: Morgan Charriere was not in the main event. The Frenchman fought on the preliminary card and lost a unanimous decision to Felipe Lima.
Main event
Parnasse finished the job inside a round. Per the UFC's official results, the referee waved it off at 2:25 of the first after a sustained burst of strikes. It is a rare quick exit for Hooker, a fighter whose reputation is built on long, punishing nights, and comfortably the biggest win of Parnasse's UFC run so far.

Co-main
The co-main was quicker still. Axel Sola knocked out Farès Ziam at 1:40 of the opening round in an all-French lightweight meeting that carried as much local interest as anything below the main event.

The rest of the main card split evenly between decisions and finishes. Michael Page edged a close one, while Losene Keita needed the least time of anyone on the card outside the two lightweight finishes above.
